Find out what Adam went to investigate…

As he packed his supplies, Nat wondered just what exactly happened that Adam went to look into. Mariah's description was quite vague, so he decided that when he arrived in Sao Paolo, he would ask someone at the university just what had happened that his friend deemed so worthy of investigation...

Upon his arrival in Sao Paolo, Nat made his way to the university as fast as he could. Once there, he asked if he could see Veronica Nunez, another archaeologist whom Adam often worked with and that he’d met a couple times previously. Luckily, she was available.

Veronica Nunez was one of the hottest women that Nat had ever met. She had a sculpted, model-worthy face, with full, luscious lips and brown eyes that shimmered like gold when they caught the light. Her slender hourglass figure was no less runway ready. "What's brought you all the way down here, Professor Jones?" Veronica asked Nat as he entered her office. "It's about Professor Warren... You see, his wife Mariah wrote to me saying that he had disappeared..." Nat replied. "He has been gone for a lot longer than he said he would..." Veronica said. "Her letter said that he 'went to look into something about some tourists...' and I was hoping that you could tell me what exactly happened and why he got involved." Nat continued. "Well, a few weeks ago, news stories about a group of tourists finding the ruins of 'some sort of temple or shrine' started circulating and naturally that caused quite the stir among us archaeologists. No one had ever found anything like the engraved stonework building described in the stories in the Amazon Jungle. And so Adam and a few other archaeologists got it in their heads that it would be a good idea to go look for said ruins." Veronica explained. "And nobody told them that they probably shouldn't be chasing news headlines?" Nat asked. "If anyone did, they clearly didn't listen." Veronica replied. "If Adam's whole group vanished, I'm not gonna be able to rescue him alone." Nat thought as he processed all that he just learned.
