Chapter 24
by SingingLark
Now that she is a werewolf... what now?
Find her pack
Liandra was unsure if she was wolf or women. She caught Snow's scent, and her paws carried her with uncanny speed. She found him in the cabin.
"The huntress return." he states, and they measure each other. Liandra had long admitted her attraction to the winter wolf, and felt like maybe now he would appreciate her better in turn.
The winter wolf is far larger than regular wolves, and Snow must weight at east double what Liandra does. But when she approaches closer he kneels in submission. She begs him to stand, but he doesn't heed her. She tells him of her trials, and he merely says "the hunger had always been within you. It was only up to you to embrace your goddess."
So Snow howled, and told you he called for his old pack. "You have no assurance if they will come, or if they will come to help us. But know this: they will respect only strength"
It was 3 hours until Liandra caught their scent in the air. They were wary. The wind shifted, they were in another direction as well. They were circling them.
Liandra felt the painless shift to human form. She was still carrying her weapons, and dressed in skimpy attire. So she pulled the bow string and shot an arrow at a nearby tree, close to one of the sneaking shadows. This startled them and she ordered: " We called wolves, not rats. Step forth, and reveal yourself"
They are majestic. Hulking white wolves with deep red eyes and frosty breath. Some of them bar their teeth, pure white spikes. There was one misshapen wolf, too hideous to be a Winter Wolf. Barghest, she instantly knew.
It was the tallest wolf that spoke first "You call your ****, pup. Submit now and you shall be spared. Perhaps not unharmed, but spared".
Thrilling.. Liandra could feel her sex petals moisten at the prospect, but she reminded herself she had a higher duty.
"Young and inexperienced I may be, but my need is great. I require the aid of your pack"
There were chuckles all around her and Liandra winced. Strength, she chided herself. She shouldn't beg for their aid.
"...and what need is that?..." another wolf speaks, but there was mockery in his tone.
So you cut him short. "Silence, mongrel. I didn't finish"
"My need is great, so regretfully I must take my next actions. Alpha, I don't know your name nor do I care. I am Princess Liandra and I challenge you for the command of this pack" This surprised everyone. In preparation for the coming fight, Liandra allowed her own beast to awake.
This time her conscience didn't fade. Even in the hybrid form, still she wasn't a match in size to the Winter Wolf. The creature noticed it and tried to quickly finish the duel with its strength. He found the princess a more slippery foe than he expected. She dodged in ways that were unnatural for wolves, and her claws were stronger. He was soon crisscrossed with new scars. Blood loss threatened to sap his strength before he could bear his superiority to fruition. So he gambled it all in one last attack, a terrible frost breath. However the she-werewolf was already at his throat, putting him down to submission.
The pack was hers.
