"Ugh, this was not worth leaving my dorm for the weekend," Erica grumbled. Alicia had ruined her visit home. She couldn't believe her mom actually thought that she was that promiscuous. Hopefully, Alicia's inflammatory comments hadn't permanently ruined their relationship.

"Are you getting back in the car with me?" Alicia asked, insistently. Erica ignored her. If she'd just allowed her to get dressed, she wouldn't have had an issue with going with her to the airport. No, getting back in the car with Alicia would cede any possibility of seizing any control of the situation. Instead, she had to come up with a plan of action.

There were some possibilities that came to her mind. The window to her room on the second floor was open. If she could somehow get up there, she could get through the window and grab some clothes. If that wasn't possible, maybe she could bum some clothes from her old neighbor friend Shirley. She and her family still lived next door.

Of course, she could also try to make her way back to her dorm, but that seemed the most risky and the worst case scenario that was available to her.
