Find Grace Choi

Grace Choi had actually been far better hidden than Fury would have expected, making it a surprise that Steppenwolf was able to identify the existence of the minx at all. From what Fury had researched, the girl had been abandoned by her birth father, a sailor for some Taiwanese fishing company. She had been adopted into an American home but she ran away as a teenager, getting involved with **** before becoming chattel for rich men to use. When her powers kicked in, she used them to free herself and fight on the streets.

All signs pointed to Grace being somebody who did not care for the wonders of the world, likely preferring the gritty street level crime fighters that seemed to proliferate the Earth. Getting somebody this naive to what was going on outside of her own window was probably going to be an impossible task for anybody that was not Fury.

Even Fury had to admit, she was surprised when her search for Grace Choi brought her to the ruins of Gotham City. She had been here not long ago in her search for Mr. Miracle and Big Barda. The idea that the girl could have been so close back then felt strange.

Then, Fury found her. Yes, it was Grace Choi, testing her prowess against a metahuman that had been decades ago, dubbed Killer Croc. The metahumans ruled Gotham City now and it seemed like Grace was one of those trying to win it back for the humans. Pity, thought, Fury - the girl seemed to enjoy fighting in losing battles.
