Chapter 6 by Peter_ENF Peter_ENF

What's next?

Finally home

Lisa was lying on her bed, freshly showered, with her mobile in her hand.

Suddenly, a new message popped up from Jan:

“Hey Lisa, here’s the editing and sharing link for today’s full set. It includes the photos with the lads, the group photos with the fans on the beach, the TikTok dance videos, and the yoga poses. The editing link contains RAW files. You can’t share those. You have to select the photos you want to share. I wouldn’t use the red light filter – it’s quite strong and alters the colours drastically. But if you want, you can of course activate it anyway.”

Below that was the long share link.

Lisa clicked on it straight away. A lovely, well-organised cloud gallery opened. She saw all the pictures and videos – to her, they still showed the red bikini and the boys’ red swimming trunks. She smiled contentedly.

A pop-up appeared at the very top of the gallery:

“Would you like to apply the new Red Light filter to the entire set for free? This special artistic filter is particularly well suited to red clothing. It removes the red tint in a natural, cinematic way and creates a warm vintage look. Just click on ‘Apply filter’ – it only takes 10 seconds per image. Afterwards, you can share the entire set straight away. Free today only.”

Below that, in small print, was a detailed description of what the filter actually does (a wavelength filter that precisely removes the red colour range). Lisa just skimmed the first line, “particularly well suited to red garments”, and thought to herself: “Cool, that’s perfect for my bikini!” She didn’t read the rest.

Without hesitation, she tapped ‘Apply filter’.

Visually, almost nothing changed on her own phone – the gallery still showed the red bikini because her account had the RAW images.

In the public folder, the videos and images were currently being processed in the cloud. Here, the wavelength of the swimwear was being precisely removed. The processing took a few minutes. But because Lisa was tired and impatient, she prepared the link and shared it without checking the result first.

She immediately wrote in the large university WhatsApp group (over 80 members):

“Hey guys! Today was such a lovely day at the beach. I spontaneously made a few TikTok videos and did some yoga poses, and also took some cool photos with a few lads and fans. Here’s the full link with everything! Feel free to share it and follow me on Insta”

Lisa put her phone away, smiled contentedly and thought: “Everything was truly perfect today. People are going to love it.”

Will she find out?
