Final preparations

The Ylanicass were experiencing the start of a golden age as their bird friends from the stars gave them miracles that healed them of their worse ailments in return for the shiny rocks that littered their homes. Soon there was not a single disease that had afflicted the Ylanicass for generations left, not even a few months after the revival of the star birds.

The starbirds were truly a gift from the gods, many of the Ylanicass thought as they watched those they had loved go from sick and dying to healthier than they had ever been. The starbirds even visited their great halls to listen to them sing; in fact, they were quite eager to listen to the maidens of the Ylanicass sing, which showed their respect for the Ylanicass, as there was no way they could actually hear them sing through the suits they used to breathe in the oceans.

Though despite all the respect the starbirds had given the Ylanicass, there were still those foolish enough to doubt their intentions, to believe them of dark intent. Which was foolish, of course, as many of their fellows tried to convince them to no avail, their paranoia getting the better of them. So many of these more paranoid Ylanicass had to be hidden away lest the star birds take offense.

Then after all of the shiny stone the Ylanicass had to give was given, the star birds did not stop giving their great cures. No, instead they helped create cities for the Ylanicass so they may be protected by the great sea beast despite having no way to pay for such great cities. Luckily for Ylanicass, the stone carved away was taken as payment by the star birds, once again proving their kindness in taking such paltry payment.

Then after all the great cities for the entirety of Ylanicass people had been made, the star birds decided to help further. They helped show the Ylanicass how to dig great caverns beneath the earth that, when finished, would be the greatest music halls the Ylanicass ever had. Truly the greatest thing to ever happen to the Ylanicass was the star birds coming down.

Param watched from an overseer's view platform as her soldiers made final preparations, getting their new underwater war gear ready. As she did, she watched her trooper scramble about the general controlled chaos of an army about to attack. She thought about how easy all of this was and how easy the conquest was going to be.

As it seemed, it was just so easy to use positive gestures to lay the groundwork for the future enslavement of the Ylanicass without them ever being the wiser, at least until it's too late. I mean, if you just look at healing the Ylanicass of all their sickness using their advanced Thanagarian technology. It would seem benign, correct? Well, you would be wrong on that one.

As it has allowed her people to know the Ylanicass biology inside and out, in fact, as Paran thought about it, they probably knew more about Ylanicass biology than the Ylanicass did. Which made it easier to design weapons to harm them, as nothing is quite like knowing the general spot to aim if you want a Ylanicass lung to fail, and that was only one of many biological weak points that had been discovered.

Though she had to admit even she would give up important information if it meant it would save her precious angel, so she couldn't blame them too much on that front. But letting them make cities for them to live in. Really? Could they make it easier for themselves to be enslaved because, of course, they made the cities **** to Thanagarian aquatic **** when designing and helping build them for the Ylanicass?

Though now her thoughts have to come to a close as she herself has to get into an aquatic Thanagarian warsuit. As she had to lead certain operations personally, she had to make certain that certain female Ylanicass were captured in pristine condition. "As only the prettiest mermaids would do for my precious angel." Paran said with a motherly smile as she got into her aquatic war suit and made her way to the docks from where the Thanagarian infantry would make their **** against the cities of the Ylanicass.
