Square-Enix's Flagship series. From numbered games to spin offs, fantasy to high tech, solo play to mmos and gatchas. The history of Final Fantasy is deep, intricate and interesting. And loaded to the gills with magical mishaps, mind control, warped energies, and other oddities.

There's so many we can't really list them all from FF6's mind controlled Terra as inspiration, to FF14's tempering and aether changes. From Marlboro influence and wapring to chocobo strangeness; this is a library in and off itself. And that's not taking into account all the normal changes you could think off like Vampires and Werewolves being let out into the world.
