Chapter 11
What do you do to the Orc?
Fight Him
The orc is low on Hp and seems to be a higher level than the dwarf. Killing him might be enough for another level and if not than at least it will get you closer, plus he might be hurt but he probably isn't weak enough to fall for your new abilities. He limps a bit but still keeps moving forward. He swings his hammer over his left shoulder and wipes his mouth with his right hand, flinging some blood to the ground as he walks. His face is bent in anger, a stream of spit falling from his left tusk as he tries to increase his speed but emidetly returns to walking when he is hit with the pain.
Your claws instinctively extend, a green fluid drips down from the bottom all the way to the tips before dropping to the ground to pool. Your new eyes focus on him, following his movement, his limp, looking for a opportunity to strike a **** spot. You don't exactly understand what your body is doing but you go with it, sliding your right foot slightly to the left. Your right hand turns out to cup the air as the green fluid changes direction, your left stretches out at waist height but still faces the ground, letting the green fluid drip. He gets as close as he can before gripping the bottom with both hands and lifts it off his left shoulder to bring it down on you. You quickly bolt to the right, his metal head hitting the ground as your left hand slashes his right lovehandle, tearing the bottom of his chest strap loose and drawing blood. You step back as he begins to scream and grabs his new wound with his right hand, kneeling and holding on to the hammer as his shoulder guard snaps off and lands in the dust.
You take a look as he struggles to stay up. Green bubbles pop and boil from the four long cuts gushing blood past his fingers. His right leg kneed in the dirt fails to support him and lets him fall over, still gripping his injury. His screams stop and he now only shivers with the strap of his hammer in his left hand and crimson flowing over his dark green stomach and lower back, forming a small pool under him. His skin gets a bit whiter and he shakes in the pool. You walk over and crouch down to see his face. He manages to utter the words "Fuck you" before spitting in your eyes and suddenly stops shaking. He quickly turns to bright sparkles that break apart and fade tell nothing but his hammer remains.
You wipe the spit from your eyes and feel the energy fill your chest, but it doesn't go any further, just halting right before hitting the limit. You don't get a level but you are very surprised how you reacted to this. Your instincts have shown you just how strong you are, the orc was weak of course, but could have killed you just as easily as before. You feel a kind of satisfaction bringing a player down like that, to see him weak and wriggling at your feet.
As you become lost in though again, you hear something shatter behind you, glass or maybe a type of saranac. You turn around to see the poor little dwarven wizard in his blue coat and wizard hat struggling with a green bottle of some kinda potion (most likely stamina) behind the tree. He fixes his glasses and begins to scoop up the contents of another that has shattered on the fallen tree, before he spots you not too far away. He freezes in place and then slowly ducks down behind the tree with the first bottle in hand, out of your field of view. Right, the dwarven wizard, the little guy who was the center of mistreatment in his group, you still need to deal with him, but what to do? You could just kill him for the exp, he is weak and badly hurt and you feel pretty close to your next level. You could spare him, no need for more **** or maybe he could be a candidate for your new abilities.
What to do with the dwarf?
