Fifth appointment

After another week John had his fifth appointment with Dr. Valentine. Like the week before he came a little early, greeted the secretary and entered the toilet with a bag in his hand. He took his shoes off and took the wedged sandals out of the bag. John took a small flask of nail polish out of his pants pocket, sat on the toilet seat lid and carefully painted his toenails in the same red color he had used last week for his lips.

On one day the last week John felt like trying out a little bit. Without his mother noticing he got some nail polish and lipsticks from her and tried them. Dr. Valentine had made him curious if differently colored lips and nails would make him look more girly or not, like she claimed. The lipsticks didn't made much of a change, they only changed his lips color. But the nail polish did. John thought colored nails looked better compared to the non-colored clear nail coating he got from his doctor. And the best out of the colors he tried was the red one he now started to apply to his finger nails. It matched the color he used for his lips, and that looked good. John brought the lent lipstick and nail polish, except this one, back to his mothers vanity and spent his alone-time in his room with colored nails, lips and wearing the wedge-heeled sandals.

After his nails had dried, John stepped into the sandals and put his normal sneakers in the bag. He took out his lipstick and applied it to his lips, painting them in the same color as his nails. "Looking good, John." He said after he was done. "Show Dr. Valentine that you have style."

He left the toilet and sat in the waiting area just in time for his appointment.

"Good to see you, John." Dr. Valentine greeted him as his time came. "I see you have decided to be bolder and show your style." She smiled knowing that John wouldn't show much resistance from now on.
