Ferry Bronwen, Orre Region doctor - [Ongoing]

In retrospect, it was shocking just how fast everything went to shit. The Orre Region was already a fairly lawless land, plagued by criminal syndicates even more so than other regions. With wild Pokemon rare as to be only recently re-emerging, Pokemon trainers were rare unless they could import Pokemon from outside the arid, rocky region.

No one's entirely sure how the faulty Pokeballs wound up in a region with next-to-zero wild Pokemon to catch, but it's believed they might've been dumped into the wastes or smuggled in. All the people of the Orre Region knew at first was that they didn't work on Pokemon. But then one accident later and the true effect of the faulty Pokeballs was discovered. It was only months later that Team Snagem, previously down on their luck and struggling to recruit new members, were leading the new Human Pokemon industry via reverse-engineering the faulty Pokeballs.

With their new supremacy, they had no need to ally with Cipher. Cipher managed to invent wrist-mounted devices that could safely deflect the faulty Pokeballs, but it wasn't long before they were decimated by Cipher and their members enslaved as Human Pokemon or assimilated into the ranks of Team Snagem.

The towns of the Orre Region, already fairly isolated due to the vast arid wastelands between them, became even more insular. The ones that couldn't fortify themselves with guards and walls in time became outposts for Team Snagem. Supplies are scarce due to the Orre Region being quarantined by the rest of the world with blockades guarded by powerful trainers with high-Level Pokemon keeping Snagem and citizens from leaving.

Which is a problem for you.

You're originally from Black City in the Unova Region, but were on an expedition into the Orre Region as an intern to a Pokemon Doctor when the quarantine of the Orre Region started. Even though you're not a native of this region, you're not allowed to leave, same as everyone in the region when the crisis began. Luckily you had Doctor Andersen to protect you. Keyword, had... and without him?

Despite your age of eighteen, you're a very small young man who never grew past five feet tall. In your time on the run, your naturally pink hair has only grown longer (albeit messy, tangled, and split-ended) and your figure atrophied from malnourishment. Even caked with dirt, your porcelain skin is oddly flawless. Your bum is still nice and bubbly despite potential atophagy, while your tummy is flat and your hips have a slight curve to them as they give way to your smooth, hairless legs. Perhaps it's due to these factors and your pretty, pixie-like mien that you find yourself on the run right now...

"That looks like a good one! The boss'll love such a cute girl for her concubine!" one of the Team Snagum grunts shouts, cackling at the potential reward she might receive.

In your time surviving so far from home in the Orre Region, the clothes you came with are reduced to tatters. A simple white doctor's jacket barely clings to your bared, androgynous chest, while the practical pants you originally wore when you first had to abandon your luggage are so torn as to resemble a skirt. These are the only two belongings you have left, not even shoes or underwear to your name.

And now, Team Snagem is looking to take your very humanity from you.
