Feeling Sleepy

The device spun slowly generating a slight hum . Lauren stared into it with slight grin certain it couldn't possibly effect her. The magician began counting backwards from ten slowly.

She did start to feel a little sleepy, it had been a long day she had to admit but it was going to take a lot more than this to control her mind. Once the countdown reached zero the magician snapped her fingers and Lauren's grogginess seemed to fade away. Lauren looked at the magician and then around at the audience.

"So Lauren how do you feel?" she asked.

Lauren's superior grin grew wider and she responded with a hint of laughter n her voice.

"Was that it ?!" Lauren said in a mocking tone laughing out loud.

"I don't feel any different at all sorry lady but it's gonna take a lot more than that to..." The magician snapped her fingers again. Lauren tried to continue speaking but instead she began to uncontrollably cluck like a chicken. The audience roared in approval and Lauren couldn't stop herself.

"What was it you were saying?" The blonde asked but Lauren kept clucking uncontrollably. Lauren's cheeks reddened she wanted to run off the the stage right then and there but her feet felt like they were made of cement.

She began to panic inside she wanted to scream for this to stop but Lauren could only manage to make silly chicken sounds with her mouth much to her embarrassment.

"I see my little suggestion is having quite the effect. But you told me to do my worst and this sure isn't my worst not by a long shot."

The magician clapped her hands this time and Lauren fell silent. "Do you want to see what else I can make you do?" Lauren wanted to scream hell no. She wanted to get the hell out of here but instead she nodded her head up and down enthusiastically and said. "Yes please."

"You heard her folks! Isn't she is such a great sport?"

"So polite too. What should we have her do next?"
