Where to next?

Faye's Landing

Fishermen pulls the net back in with hundreds of fish full squirming within. A light sea breeze blows the boat along the brisk cool waters. In the region more boats try their own hand in collecting from the sea.

On the docks the ship ports throwing the net of fish for the day over the dock. Crew members begin sorting out the fish by size and type. The port master looks over the collection handing five bags of coins to the captain of the boat. Heads on to the next boat as the crew prepares to ship it to market dealers.

One market dealer takes some fish from the crew and heads off with a basket of full of fish. Other parts of the market began to open up as the sun began to rise from the sea. The dealer finds the spot to sell the fish and waits for the people to come in. Pulling a knife from nearby the tent that the dealer picked out and begins cutting the fish up. Finds below the table where the fish lies is several bags of salt. Grabbing a handful of salt and sprinkles it over the fish to keep it preserved.

The first customers stop in looking as if they are travelers. A rarity in this sleepy fishing town, but not uncommon. Three robed figures coming through the village with several sacks full of vegetables, fruits, and breads for the journey ahead. Approaching they hand him a bag of coins for several fish. Cutting them up and wrapping them up for the long trip the three.

Shortly after the three travelers leave the village they take their hoods off. The older man in the group speaks up “Shall we continue toward Aric’s Run Faervel?”

Faervel stares at both Robert and his handsome grandson John showing a slight smile “We have a week and half to go if we are lucky to get to Aric’s Run and then after that who knows what come next. Your adventure has only begun.” The three lift their hoods up and head out on their horses following the trail to Aric’s Run.
