Fast Forwards

It's been a few months since you started, and you've settled into a bit of a routine. You rarely see Isobel or Max unless they're raiding the fridge, so you spend most of your time with Pete, Hannah, and Milly.

You've also started to get to know other people livin around - From an trip to the bar earlier in the year, you've met Tara who lives in the house opposite, and Elle just round the corner. Both have introduced their housemates, and house parties tend to be an open invitation to all.

It was late at one of these house parties, and people had started to filter out. Tara and her housemates had gone back home already, when Pete suggested the remaining group head out to the local nightclub. "I'm alright here" you tell Pete "don't let us stop your night though!".

As Pete leaves with a small group, Elle realises all her housemates ended up going out with him.

"Ah, looks like there's no one left walking back the same way..." she trails off.

"That's alright, you can stay if you'd rather" pipes up Milly. "There's cushions and blankets for the sofa"

"Or Pete can walk you back as well, if he doesn't mind" adds Hannah, missing Milly's annoyed glance.
