Fantasy's out?

I 'm probably overthinking things.

Hardly anyone reads fantasy. Yes, I've heard that saying a few times here at CHYOA. But I didn't really want to believe it. Because I like fantasy. Considering the popularity this story is getting—or rather, not getting—I guess I have to admit I was wrong.

To be honest, that takes the wind out of my sails a bit. Should I continue writing the story?

To be clear: It's not because of you who have read this far. And thank you so much for your likes! That's why I want to share my thoughts with you.

It seems that only a few people even click on the first chapter. At least compared to other stories I've published. I assume it's because of the genre.

Should I look for another forum to publish “Angel & Demon”? Maybe it would be worth a try.

But I don't really want to leave.

Another idea occurred to me recently: publish the story in a different genre?

Not the text I've already written, of course. But the plot, the structure, a different background. Make Celene and Mara normal people. How many people would read that?

I'm itching to do it. What do you think?
