Believing his beloved to have been murdered by her own brother, an angry and grief-stricken Gellert fled, taking Ariana's Elder Wand with him to remember her, as well as to keep it from the hands of her brothers.

Over the following years, Gellert sought to liberate the world from the lies of the Dumbledore brothers, even as their influence - particular Albus' - grew.

However, unknown to Geller and the world, Ariana was not dead. Instead she had been placed into a magical coma and hidden away. With their knowledge of Runes, the brothers were able to slowly drain their sisters great magic and give it to themselves, making them both stronger. Something Albus would later go on and do to Lily Evans.

Then, in 1945, Gellert and Albus had their fateful duel, which would sadly see Gellert defeated and Ariana's wand taken from him by Albus. The elder Dumbledore would then go on to frame Gellert for numerous Dark and Terrible deeds. With him now branded as a Dark Lord, Gellert was imprisoned in the fortress he had built, Nuremgard.

But it would be his theft of both his sisters and Lily's magic that would be Albus' downfall.

When he had placed Ivy Evans with the Dursley family, Albus had placed a ward around the house to ensure their aggression and animosity towards the girl, to make her his malleable pawn.

However, as a result of this, he was regularly siphoning off his own magic to power the ward, so as to prevent the overload of magic from his two victims from killing him.

When Ivy Evans caught Peter Pettigrew and cleared her Godfather, Sirius Black, the wards on No. 4 Privet Drive broke. As a result, Albus suffered a massive heart attack as a result of magical overload.

When his journal was read, both Lily and Ariana were freed from their coma with Ariana barely seeming to have aged at all. At the same time Gellert was also freed and cleared. As the now former Headmaster of Durmstrang, Igor Karkaroff, had been identified as a supporter of Dumbledore, Gellert was able to assume the Headship of his former school, while also reuniting with his beloved wife.

Ariana, meanwhile would be teaching Transfiguration at Hogwarts.

And now, as he stood before them at the Arrival Point for International Portkeys at the Bulgarian Ministry, he opened his arms in welcome with a proud and happy smile directed toward the Minister.

Credence Bearbone - born Aurellius Dumbledore, the only son of Aberforth - smiled at his uncle and mentor. Credence eventually learned his true name but decided he wanted nothing to do with his father, and instead wanted to honor his Aunt.

Lily smiled at his compliment as he turned to Molly, who answered without being prompted. Bowing her head she introduced herself. "Molly Weasley nee Prewitt, My Lord."

Gellert nodded, having heard representatives of the British Ministry mention her. "Yes, the Breeding Bitch of House Weasley I have heard you be referred to as. How many children have you bore for your husband, My Dear Lady?" he asked politely.

Molly smiled proudly. "Seven, M'Lord. Five boys and two girls. All as fit and healthy as their parents." she said with pride. Gellert smiled back. "Wonderful!" he said cheerfully before turning to Emma.

"Emma Granger, M'Lord." she bowed following her friends' actions.

Not recognizing the name, Gellert asked "Muggleborn?"

Swallowing a bit in nervousness, Emma shook her head. "Muggle, Sir. My daughter is a student entering her 4th year of Hogwarts." she said.

Gellert understood her nerves but had to ask. "And do you love your daughter?" he asked, well aware that some Muggles despised their children for their magic.

Emma looked at him like he was mad. "She is my whole world, My Lord." she told him in a defensive and sure voice, with a clear intent to beat anyone who insinuated otherwise to ****.

Sensing this in the protective mother, Gellert smiled happily. "Then you are most welcome here, Madame Granger." he said with his own head bowed in greeting.

Turning to his nephew, Gellert said "Credence, as their actions directly affected several of my students, I will be taking custody of them at Durmstrang until we go to Hogwarts in October." he said.

Pouting at not getting to use the whores like he wished, Credence bowed his head to his uncle. "Understood, Uncle. I will leave them in your care."

Once the appropriate paperwork was taken care of, Gellert - after sending off a message to his wife to explain the situation - brought the three to Durmstrang.
