Family gets ready for the farmer's market

You and the family jump out of the van and open the trailer. You all have done this so many times, it's just muscle memory and in less than fifteen minutes everything is setup and ready for the day. Emma and Linda went over to check in with the market coordinator and the sisters are putting the finishing touches on the displays. You are walking back up from starting the generator from behind the canopy tent to the tables when you catch the end of disagreement between Tara and Amber.

Amber sneers at Tara "What is your deal today? You are extra happy... Do you really love this that much you cow?"

You arrive at their sides as they are facing off and you see Tara's face fall and reach the verge of tears. Amber is always giving her a hard time but not usually this bad. "AMBER, NO, what is wrong with you? Why would you say that to your sister?" You wait for a second as Amber just stares at Tara, sensing you will not get a reply you reach over and to get her attention, you smack Amber's ass, hard. "What's your deal today?" You watch as a weird smile flashes across Amber's face before shock takes over and she bursts into tears and runs away leaving you confused at what just transpired.

Tara gives you a little smile and says "Thank you for standing up for me." She gives you a hug and a quick peck on the cheek. "But I think that Amber needs you now... That was odd even for her..."

You admire Tara's compassion as Amber was just being so mean to her and yet Tara is still pushing you to help her. You pull out of Tara's hug. "Ok. I will go check on her." You turn to Naomi and Abigail and ask "Are you good here? Can I go find Amber?" Naomi gives you a smile and a thumbs and Abigail nods. You take off after Amber.
