Familiar faces, new faces

Practically naked (and somehow more rather than less embarrassed by the few uniform aspects she retained over her otherwise nude body), Rhea makes her way through the familiar corridors. Common as nudity is, naked girls still attract looks and grins, and she is no exception. Her colleagues are largely acting as normal, although the females cannot help but wince sympathetically; visitors, however, treat themselves to the sight of an exposed officer of the law with no reservations.

A small surprise awaits Rhea as she reenters the Punishments department's waiting area. Jane is there (much as expected, victims of errors are normally invited to witness the consequences), but next to here there is also a woman who can only be Jane's mother. Mrs Smith gets up from her chair as she sees Rhea enter and head towards them (well, towards Jane, really) and Rhea expects to come under a verbal **** if not more; parents of young offenders are rarely good news. Instead the woman flashes her an obviously embarrassed smile.

"Hi, Officer Patel, I'm Mrs Smith, you can call me Leslie," she says. "I tried to talk to them to tell them it's no big deal, Jane deserved all she got, but it's a matter of procedure apparently!" She sighs. Rhea decides to gently cut in. "I really appreciate it, Leslie, but they've got a point, I did mess up", she says. "I understand adult children might be a handful, but Jane had her punishment issued for a reason and that was what I should have done. Don't worry on my behalf, please!" Behind her mother's back Jane looks a bit sheepish (and she is clearly sitting uncomfortably), but it seems to Rhea she is rather looking forward to the next part.

"Sorry, I must go in to report for the punishment", Rhea says. "I'd love to catch up after it is all done if you are staying around," she adds not to sound rude, not really expecting Mrs Smith to be interested. To her Rhea is only a stranger who spanked her daughter, after all. Flashing the woman a polite smile, the near-naked officer turns to the department's reception desk... And has to stifle a curse. Her colleague on duty, who is just returning to the desk presumably having escorted a deserving girl to her fate, is Adrian. He is a nice guy a couple of years older than her and normally she would not have any particular aversion to him specifically seeing or conducting her punishment (in fact, better him than many others), but after he asked her out and she politely but clearly stalled him just last week... Rhea really wishes it was someone else.

Still, the awkwardness on her part aside, the conversation that follows is not too bad. Adrian tells her he will take her and her two "visitors" to the (thankfully otherwise private) punishment room when it is ready; in the meanwhile she can wait behind the desk on display. Rhea thanks him politely and rounds the desk to put her nose against the walls with her hands on her head. She knows the drill well enough. The department is clearly having a quiet spell, only confirmed by the fact she is the only person on display presently. A minute later, however, someone else approaches Adrian and after a brief conversation, the newcomer joins Rhea. A careful sideways glance tells the officer that the white woman next to her is about her age or maybe a bit older. She is bottomless, her blouse, unlike Rhea's top doing a proper job of covering her breasts. A flash of red seems to tell she was also already spanked recently. If so, Rhea does not envy her.

She does not have long to dwell on her temporary companion's misfortune, however. Adrian calls her name and Rhea and Mrs and Ms Smith all follow him... Each with a different feeling about what is coming.
