Fallen Off

Felix saw the paw lunging towards him and he leaped back, dodging the claws from grazing his chest. Dirt dragged underneath his hind paws as he then dash away from the infected bear. He didn’t had any time to waste. Every moment he lost was more likely you ended up in the Sandslash’s gullet.

He heard the heavy thumps of the pursuing infected behind him. Despite the large size, the Ursaring was able to keep up with the Grovyle. Felix grumbled as he realizes that outrunning him wasn’t going to be enough. He noticed that at one of the edges was a sloped descent downward to the ground. Such a fall to a normal Pokémon would most likely be fatal, but to an stronger, more durable infected Pokémon might be able to survive it.

Felix managed to keep dodging the Ursaring’s moments of attacks as he then positioned himself near the edge. He sees the Ursaring charging towards him recklessly. He made it about a couple feet away before he felt something snagged against his paw, making him trip and roll towards him. Felix leaps over him and the Ursaring fell off the edge. The Grovyle went and looked over and saw the infected bear rolling down the sloped part of the mountain like a boulder as he soon disappeared from the view.

Felix winced a bit at the occasional collisions to stones at the descent. “So glad that infected’s get stronger from this.” He stated as he took a look at where the Ursaring was charging from, noticing a sprouted grass knot on the ground before he dashed towards your location once more, hoping that you haven’t became that mouse’s meal or toy.

At the base of the mountain, a dazed and bruised lump of a Ursaring groaned in pain as he laid on the ground from the painful descent down the mountain.
