Fairies

You see something shine across the field. It’s moving really fast and you can’t follow it quite right. You focus on escape, but the logs of the cage are over your legs, and you don’t have the strength to move them. You try to don’t give up, but each time gets harder and harder.

-Come on! Move stupid log!- You scream trying to move the wood out of your legs. You don’t care if the trolls hear you. You just want to get out of there.

Then many lights appear from nothing and help you out, lifting the logs and setting you free. As you try to stand up, you notice one of your legs is broken. –Shit!- You scream in pain. A little yellow light comes right in front of your face. Now that you see it up close, you recognize a figure, which around it has a bright yellow aura.

-Are you okey, Freva?- A tiny voice speaks to you. Fairies! You look confused at the little woman.

-Well, I’m okey, but my leg won’t work… so… kind of okey, I guess.- You shrug. –Thank you for saving me. What’s your name?- You see how the aura gets pink for a second.

-Your welcome. My name is Rhin, and I’m the captain of the fairy army of the tall forest.- She says as she flies to your shoulder. You can’t see her, but she is now close to your ear, so you can hear her better. –I’m going to bring my sisters. They can heal your leg within minutes.- You hear her wings flap and the yellow light goes with the other ones. A bunch of them, you can’t count them, comes nearby and start going up and down your leg, looking for the injury. When they find it, they gather on that spot for a couple of minutes. As time passes you are feeling way better.

-Wow, thank you very much, Rhin.- You say with a smile. You don’t know why, but all of this seems too nice to be true. The aura goes to pink again, and shifts back to yellow.

-So… Freva, this must be a little rotter, but…- She comes in front of you, right in your nose, so you can see her expressions. –Can you help us?- Her eyes seem watery. –Our forest… is being attacked by evil creatures… De… Demons…- Her voices breaks, sobbing and she starts crying. –Please… our brothers and sisters need your help.-
