Faint

With no recourse, no clothes, and really no presentation, Alice's face drained of all color.

"I'm sorry, Mrs. Sylvia, I don't know where my bag is, and I don't know where my notes are," she moaned.

"Well, Miss Alice, do you at least know a basic outline of what you'll talk about?" the teacher responded.

Alice did not; she had several note cards that she was planning on reading verbatim to get at least a C. She hadn't memorized any of them in an effort to take her mind off the stress, and now she knew absolutely nothing on the assignment. She then thought about getting an F, and how that would affect her grades, or even her graduation. She had a scholarship to Yale and Columbia, but now that seemed to be crumbling if she couldn't finish the assignment.

Overwhelmed by all this, Alice limply tried to walk forward, but before she could she blacked out and her body just collapsed onto the floor, to the shock of everyone (even her bullies).

"Oh my god, is she okay?"

"Someone call the nurse!"
