The FX-9900-D G-Bit was The First Bit Mobile Suit (or Mobile Bit) created by The Human Reform League and is so reliable that they are still in use by 2174.

Technology & Combat Characteristics:

The Bit Mobile Suit's Technology Is Nearly Identical To That of A Pilot-Manned Mobile Suit Merely Scaled Down and Remotely Operated.

Armaments:

• Satellite Cannon: A Powerful Back-Mounted Weapon Charged by a Microwave Beam from an External Source. The Energy is Supplied by The Generation System of The Human Reform League's Orbital Elevator which The FX-9900-D G-Bit Receives and Absorbs through a Back-Mounted Reflector Unit then Stores for Firing.
• Two 60mm Vulcan Guns: Two Small Caliber Shell Firing Guns Mounted in Either Side of The Head. While Ineffectual against Mobile Suit Armor, They are useful in Intercepting Incoming Missiles/Rockets, Destroying Mobile Suit Sensors, and Engaging Lightly-Armored Vehicles and Personnel.
• Chest-Mounted Beam Machine Gun
• Heat Dagger: The FX-9900-D G-Bit has Two Heat Daggers in its Legs, One in Each Calf. The Blade of The Heat Dagger is Heated using Leftover Heat from The Leg's Thrusters.
• Beam Saber: The Beam Saber is a Small Hand-Held Device Powered by a Rechargeable Energy Capacitor. It Emits a Blade of Concentrated Plasma Contained by an I-Field and can cut through Most Armor not treated with Anti-Beam Coating. Mobile Bits are often Equipped with Several Beam Sabers Stored in The Side of Each Lower Leg via a Retractable Internal Leg-Mounted Beam Saber Storage Rack. Each Beam Saber is also capable of being used as a Grenade.

• Flash System: Remote Mobile Bit Control Module.
• Reflector Unit: Equipped on The Back of The FX-9900-D G-Bit, It Consists of Four Large Panels that Unfold into an X Shape when The Satellite Cannon is Activated. These Panels have a Honeycomb Structure and Can Store Energy from The Microwave Beam for The Cannon's Use. They can also Release The Energy Directly, Generating a Repulsive **** that can be used for Propulsion. When Utilized in this Manner, The Unfolded Panels Face Backwards, Resulting in a Flight Form known as "Hovering Mode." It is possible to Control The Speed and Posture in this Mode by Changing The Angle of The Panels and The Satellite Cannon's Barrel, and High-Speed, Long-Range Jumps can also be Performed.
• Satellite System: The Satellite System Consists of Several Pieces of Technology working in Concert. One Part of The System is a Specially-Designed Solar Power Station built on The HRL's Orbital Elevator a Super-Microwave Energy Beam is Transmitted to The Mobile Bit which then Channels The Energy through its Satellite Cannon. Over Time, Several Versions of This System have been Developed, Each System having its Own Unique Use.
