Q) Do we submit only original content? Or does fan fiction, stuff based on celebrities, etc count?

Fan fiction and celebrities are both fine. The content should be freshly written and not copied from somewhere else.

Q) What's the time frame?

All chapters should be entered by end of day on May 13 in your choice of timezone.

Q) How will the stories be judged?

There is a judges panel. Likes and views will be considered as part of the rubric, but there are other criteria as well. Genuine effort and creativity are appreciated. Judging will take place a week or more after the contest deadline.

Q) Is the goal for one submission per writer, or is it a free for all? How many times can we enter in the contest?

One submission is welcome. Since inspiration comes to us all, the maximum is 3 separate submissions (storylines) per author. As many chapters as you like per storyline as long as it fits within the word count limit.

Q) Is the panel looking for short and to the point, or is a longer miniseries appropriate? Is there a maximum length or wordcount?

We are looking for short stories, not novellas. Recommended length is between 1000 and 7500 words, with a hard limit of 15000 words.
