Rachel visits her mom’s family friend, her old ’aunt’ Stella. Rachel will be spending six weeks during her summer break at Stella’s. 63-year-old Stella is single, slightly eccentric, and a raging sex-starved lesbian. She thanks her aunt for being so caring and says she is grateful that Stella took the time to make her such beautiful and elegant outfits! To hide her embarrassment at being exposed and her dislike for these clothes, Rachel overcompensates and says that she loves her aunt’s designs and wishes her aunt would make outfits for her. Rachel hoped that Stella would not take her request seriously and that she would never have to wear those clothes again. Unfortunately for Rachel, Stella took her wishes seriously and said she would be happy to design even more ‘elegant’ outfits for her little niece. Stella says that since Rachel loved her work so much, she would make outfits for Rachel to wear to school, the mall, and even public gatherings like Sunday church! Rachel was terrified to hear the enthusiasm in her aunt’s voice, knowing very well that she would be embarrassed and humiliated every time she wore one of Stella’s creations.
