Exploring the Lively Village

Upon seeing the village you wanted to know if there was any soldier, or magic users nearby. It would be terrible if had to deal with soldiers that have a demon phobia. They will cause only more people to fear demons. Although if there is a magic user it maybe risky, but could convince them you are friendly. "Trader, while you busy getting a horse we shall be looking around the village. Is there a blacksmith here?"

"There is a blacksmith, but the village barely stays together. Having nothing to mine nearby for metals, and only small fields of food to sell. All it would take is a single bandit raid to destroy this place. Only reason why it still exist is, because a crazy fire mage lives here. Got ousted from a Royal Academy. No one knows what for, but there is bunch of rumors he conspired with demons."

"Ooh, this sounds pretty interesting. We shall be back after meeting this crazed mage you spoke off, and if you be so kind to buy a map for me."

"You can have mine." He hands you a small scroll. Then you went separate ways for now.

"Lura, why you silent entire time we were with the human?"

"I know he was not one whom captured fairies, but was only scared of asking him what have happened to them. Also, whenever see a human it reminds me of how they capture. Their mages used magic to freeze the air and their wings." He shudders from recalling those memories. I try to comfort Lura by curling tip of one of my tails around him.

When completely in the village we sneak around. Armed with the use of air magic we could go straight through a village almost unnoticed. Simply by distracting people by blowing their hats away, or having a ladies skirt blown upward creating quite of a scandal. Oh, was it fun finding a rare girl wearing nothing underneath, certainly had turn one into a bright red tomato. After some time listening to the humans in a bar talking about the crazy mage finally getting information where he lived at.

Approaching the stoned house ahead of us I started to sense magic being used. Recalling him being a fire mage I quickly use the air to create a vacuum of space where it originated at. Sprinting into the house to see a old man **** on empty air next to a unlit stove. Immediately stopping my magic from **** the poor mage to ****. "I am so sorry. I thought there was someone attacking."

Mage grasping from the lack of oxygen look at me an had a shocked expression. When his breathing calmed down he went to sent down on a wooden chair. "A fox demon here?! No, not a fox but a kitsune with demonic appearance!"

"Yup, that's me. Taelia is my name, and this fairy is my loving mate Lura. Sorry again with the whole **** you to ****."

"No, that is alright. You can't be too careful dealing with most mages these days. Especially at a so-called royal academy for magecraft. My name is Sitam. What is your purpose here?"

"Simply trying to find out if the rumors are true about you, and what did you meant by so-called academy?"

"Well, I couldn't tell a human without getting my head lopped off, but if it is a demon than this would greatly concern you. The Academy itself is a ruse for experimenting on demons. I not know what exactly they trying to do, but it seems to be something to do with demon's growth of magic. There is nothing else I know other than that they gather vile mages. Some of them were criminals to the kingdom. As for rumors about me lusting over demons is partly true which made them think I could be maniplated. I was raised in a neighbor kingdom where demons lived with humans, along with many other beast folk. They have multiple rulers that helps keep everyone living peacefully, but here in this kingdom they have churches that blame every bad omen upon any demon that is closest to snatch up."

"Thanks for your story. Would you by chance to know anything about curses?"

"No, I do not. As far as everyone knows curses don't exist."

"Lura, would it be a trouble to explain what curse you have?"

Lura looks annoyed at me. "Taelia! You should know what the curse is because you the one that l-licked it!" As he pulls the skirt of the leaf dress up to show that adorable penis.

The mage is completely surprised. "A fairy that is born male known as the cursed fairy, because every time one was born a calamity was soon coming."

You are utterly confuse on how having a cute penis is a curse. "Does that mean he not really cursed, but more like a deity turned a fairy into a early warning message?" Lura does not know how to react to this information being brought to light. "Also do you have evidence to back up that claim?"

"You could be right that Lura was being used as a early warning. As for evidence there should be a elder vampire that can show you in the kingdom I was raised at, but that girl travels all over the place collecting information."

"Seems we found our curse mystery for the most part, but still have fairies captured by frost mages mystery. Sitam, would you teach me how to use magic?"

"I would be willing if there was you can stay here without being caught by anyone. Surely you understand I don't want my head being lopped off by a guilatine."

Remembering you the demon told a trader that was going to meet a crazed fire mage brought a clever idea in mind. "Well, sorry to ruin your peaceful life here by telling the trader I saved about coming to meet you. Sadly, your only chance of survival is teaching this foxy demon fire magic. Also, would it be better to destroy that awful so-called academy together?" I just checked mate this mage without even trying.

Sitam gave me a very serious look. "You have certain out wit me there. Just give me some time to prepare." When he got up to exit the room you saw a smile at the moment turning away from your direction.
