Explore the city.

While you've been to Tivera's capital city of Tolis a few times, you still feel like you haven't seen the majority of the city. It's vast, and sprawling with different shops, homes, and sights to see. Khorheim feels as if it would take even longer to see it all. Not only does it seem endless, but the multiple levels and labyrinthian layout is intimidating. It's likely that the entire complex is actually multiple cities linked together, and you could continue to explore these halls for months. It wouldn't be wise to wander for more than a few hours if you want to catch a ride to the peak before this mysterious meeting, but you need to pass the time somehow. So you, Eva, and Amara, wander the streets around the area seemingly more for outsiders. You see plenty of non-dwarves around these parts.

"So where do we go?" Eva asks.

"Dwarven cities are such a stark contrast to what I am used to, so I have no idea where to even begin. I admit that I am rather overwhelmed," replies Amara. "Have you been to one before, Ms. Beela?"

Eva shakes her head.

"I haven't either," you add. "Though I guess that's probably obvious."

Your group wanders for awhile. Down a few more streets, you start to hear music. There are flashing lights and traffic gravitating towards a particular area nearby. Following that, you approach a grand building decorated with gold and a sign that illuminates as if by magic. Its attractive glow beckons all in the area to come. There are two statues of adorable blobs with smiling faces, both coloured yellow, and the neon-like words above read, "The Golden Slime". Spotlights illuminate the entrance like beacons, and you can hear the alluring sound of instruments filling the street outside. People come and go--travellers and residents alike.

There's a cloaked figure standing nearby. You can feel their gaze. Though under the shade of their hood, you can only make out dark skin and red eyes.

"I think that might be another sunheart over there," you quietly say.

"I am not so certain," Amara replies.

Eva taps her chin. "I wonder if this is a tavern or something."

The figure moves slowly towards your group. As they come into view, you can see feminine lashes and strange bumps on the sides of her hood, as well as a large lump on the back presumably containing her hair. It's difficult to make out her figure through the robe, but you can see the slight curve of her hips and chest. There's something more that you notice when she nears. Beneath her hood isn't an ordinary ruby gaze. There's a third eye on her forehead as well. At first, you're not certain if it's real or a marking, but then it moves along with her others as she glances towards you.

"This is no tavern," she speaks. The voice that comes out is strange. She's soft-spoken and something you can only describe as mystical. "The Golden Slime is a luxurious destination that generates a considerable fortune for those behind it. While I am not here to convince you not to enter, I do warn you not to lose control."

"Who are you?" Eva asks.

"A collector," she replies. "Places such as these may be a treasure trove for those who search, but they can also be a trap for those who are careless. To lose is as easy as to gain. Do not allow me to keep you any longer. Head inside, if it is time you are looking to pass. Just be weary. Methods to track the passage of time are lacking, and that is intentional."

Upon further inspection, you can see loose bangs--red so pale that it's nearly white.

"Do you have any idea what she's talking about?" Eva whispers to you.

You look over the sign once more. "It's a casino."

"Correct." The woman turns and begins to step away once more. "Just be careful what you bet."

"There's no way I'm bringing these girls into a--"

"That sounds fun!" Eva shouts.

"I admit that my curiosity is piqued," Amara says.

Eva then grabs her and begins pulling her along.

Both of them hurry ahead and push straight through the front doors. You're not sure who the woman is, but you don't have the chance to stick around and ask. Your first priority is to make sure Eva and Amara don't end up causing chaos, especially for themselves, in a tourist spot designed for gambling. So you look to her once more before making chase, and you proceed inside.
