She tilts her head and frowns. "What?"

"I cant. Leom made me sign a contract, if you don't stay for the year then I die. And even if he hadn't, it's not like I know how to open portals to other dimensions or whatever. Not really something the tutors teach you."

She let's go of your collar, letting you fall to the ground, hard. You wince before slowly getting up and dusting your pants.

"I could care less about you dying, but not being able to open a portal is the issue. We'll have to revisit the idea later. What about the divine energy you were emanating?" she asks, looking genuinely curious. "You a demigod or something?"

"Divine energy?"

She crosses her arms and sighs, annoyed.

"Well since apparently, you're weak, AND dumb I guess I have to explain everything to you, right?"

"Uncalled for..."

"Think of divine energy as the gift that every deity has. Some can talk to animals, split the sea, or summon fire. Me? I can punch things really hard. Crazy convenient ain't it?"

"So the power of gods? I mean I'm pretty decent at fighting but I dont think I have ever demonstrated anything close to god-like abilities."

She crosses her arms looking a bit annoyed. "Yeah, no shit, I should've been able to break you like a twig. But..."

"But...?"

"While we were fighting, I should have been able to "incapacitate" a human like you in a single shot but you ate every single one of my hits just like my idiot brother will have to do once more when I get my hands on him..."

Wait, why did she say incapacitate like that?

"I wasn't in the best state of mind okay? Plus, I didn't, did I?"

"That doesn't make it any better!"

You shake your head, are all deities this crazy?

"So I'm a human who ate full-strength punches from a goddess, would that make me something of a demigod?"

You try and think back to when and where you could have gotten this so-called energy from. You know for a fact that your mother was human unless your dad lied to you which is unlikely because he's not the type to be patient enough for the long con. And since you've only interacted with one (two if you count this goddess) full-fledged deities, then there is only one logical explanation.
