Your colourful party approaches the pair.

"Sorry, but we actually wish to see the queen," you say. "I've spoken to her previously. If you could tell her that Kyle Warren is--"

The figure in the robe turns, showing the face of a balding, middle-aged man. "You think any adventuring group can just march up to the royal castle and speak with Her Majesty? Don't waste our time. If you're seeking a quest, head to the guild's headquarters."

"Uh. Does it help to say I'm friends with Lady Tesgella?"

"I don't care what adventurer you're friends with. Now please leave. We're very busy."

"The high succubus Mistress Dajy has been slain."

The man falls silent. He inspects you and your party for a moment, and as he does, you retrieve her gift from your backpack. Despite it not being her entire horn down to the bone, it's still quite long and imposing, and by the look of the robed man's face, he might actually believe you.

"You... slew the succubus Dajy?"

"We did. Me, Eva, Niki, Amara, and Rabbit's Foot here."

Niki slaps you hard on the back. "But I gotta give it to him this time. He took her out while we dealt with her minions."

"May I see it?" the man asks.

You hand the horn to him and he looks over it closely. "By the gods. You may actually be telling the truth. I will see what Her Majesty has to say, though if you are deceiving us, it'll be your heads. Excuse me. I'll return in a moment."

He returns the horn and heads through the doorway, while the guard he was speaking to goes about his business. You're left alone for a short time before he once again makes his way back outside. He nods his head.

"I am the court wizard Dezro. Please, follow me. She wishes to speak with you now, while she has time between appointments."
