Explain Your Mission

For some reason, you tell the driver you've been hired to look into the disappearance of Penny Pratt.

The driver shakes her head. "The police have already been here for all that," she explains. "It was very inconveniencing for the Ranch, and entirely uncalled for. Ms. Pratt has a well known habit of _disappearing _on vacations with regularity.

"Ms. Featherton is close with MS. Pratt, as you may know, and has found the entire ordeal very difficult. If the police are looking after reasonable leads, I don't see the need to trouble Ms. Featherton any further."

"All the same," you explain that you've been hired to do a job and you mean to do it. You'll only need a little of Ms. Featherton's time and then you'll be on your way.

The cart moves into a huge clearing of well-manicured lawn and topiaries. A massive mansion sits in the middle of the clearing, flanked by smaller, but still quite large buildings on either side.
