Exile begins
The hedge seals behind you ensuring you can't turn back. You step into the world with bare feet that are yet to be accoustomed to stepping on bare soil.
You look in the distance and see a river that leads to the hills. You also see smoke in the distance.
Since it's still afternoon you think to yourself that next you can head over the river maybe take a bath there or something.

A thief (J.D. Bigwood) steals a time machine with the intent to go back in time to steal valuable artifacts and minerals, but the thief presses the wrong buttons on the hand-held time machine so instead of his whole body being transported back in time, and back, it is only his consciousness which is sent back. The twist being, every time he goes back in time, he wakes up in the body of a different historical figure. He figures if he can't steal the artifacts, he will steal that which is more important; the experiences. Sometimes he wakes up in a male body, sometime he wakes up in female body, but he always gets the job done!
