The cylinders are clear plasteel tubes, about two feet in diameter and upwards of six feet high, independently mounted on mechanical apparatuses. A bluish fluid courses sluggishly in each, and you can see clone blanks in various stages of growth.
Towards the back of the room, the clones are infants, curled fetally in the lower portion of the tubes, the umbilical still attached.
As you move toward the front of the room, the clones age and grow rapidly - here there are five-year old equivalents, here ten, here fifteen, and here eighteen. You know the adult bodies themselves take less than six months to grow, but as you look at a young fifteen year old girl, her long black hair floating in the bluish murk, her breasts swaying slightly as the fluid rotates her around, you can't help but marvel. Any of these clones would be indistinguishable from a born human, even without the nanomodifications each will get to fit the target client's preferences.
