Examine the Captive

You press a button on your desk, alerting your assistant

"Yes, Sir Maphe?", a female voice casually responds.

"Carol tell the guys with Captive that I'm heading over to personally meet the newcomer"

"Will do... Alright, they're moving it to containment room twenty-seven as we speak, you can go anytime your ready, but the sooner the better"

"But of course. Thank you, Carol"

One of your employees hands you a clipboard just outside the door to the cell. Seems they didn't do pretty much anything before you got here. How sweet, they were saving everything for you. Tossing it back to the one who handed it to you, you hold your keycard up to the door's scanner and grant yourself access.

The room is divided in two: the part you just entered is rather small, housing a computer station (Carol is currently there, waiting to record any data) and a door to the other part of the room, visible through a large two-way mirror. Looking through the mirror/window, there's not much to the other part of the room, in spite of it being quite a bit bigger. It's all a pristine white, to include the small bed tucked into the corner, the short table placed in the center, and the two chairs that accompanied the table. The Captive was currently visible sitting on the edge of the bed, idly kicking its feet.

Another swipe of your card and you're with The Captive. It was about three or four feet tall when standing up, give or take, and covered in soft brown fur adorned with dark crescent patterns. Around its neck was an extra-fluffy mane of a caramel color. If you included the ears when measuring its height it easily gained an extra six inches.
