Examine it.

You examine it. It seems strangely heavy.

The inscription on the bottom says, 'The wise one who enters this, enjoy this treasure'. You examine it carefully and you cannot find anything special about it.

You decide to clean it, you get a rag and wipe the base and you notice a small hole that has been filled in with some sort of glue. As you rub the base of the statue the holes filling falls out. You decide you should clean it out with a pin.

You insert the pin and you hear a click and a small parcel wrapped in cloth falls to the ground. You pick it up and unwrap it. It's a small pendent on a chain. The cloth is old and fraying, You look at the pendent and conclude its gold and you might want to keep it as your first find.

The pendent is rather unremarkable, you drape it around your neck and go about finishing up your cleaning and cataloging.

You have learned alot about your inventory and have a few items you want to add to your collection. You decide to take a break. You sit on one of your chairs looking out your store windows drinking a cup of coffee. And play with your new chain. The pendent slips into your fingers and you continue to play with it. Then your finger feels a small bump on the pendent and you press on it and it clicks. You notice a young man walk by your window cursing his boss. Then a man talking to himself about preparing dinner.

You wonder why people talk out loud as they walk around the city. Then you see two women walk by both talking over each other. This seems strange to you, then you realize you can hear them in the store.
