Everything Goes Well For The Next Few Days

After the police arrested Andrea's boss, Andrea immediately quit her job. You offered to drive her home which she accepted but throughout the ride you could tell how emotionally destroyed she was. When you got back to your small house Andrea gave you a hug goodbye.

You watched her walk into her house next door and only then walked back inside. A few hours later you got a phone call and Andrea simply wanted to talk to you. You talked until late into the night and then went to bed.

This is how it went for the next five days. Andrea would meet you at your house in the morning where you would give her a load, though she didn't want to touch you which was fine in your opinion. After work she would meet you at your house where you would make dinner and give her one more load.

Then on the sixth day Andrea missed her morning session. You headed over to her house and saw her packing up her things. "Andrea what's going on?"

"John....look I'm sorry I should have told you sooner." Andrea said a bit somberly,

"What's wrong?" You asked concerned,

"I can't afford to live here anymore. Without my job I'm gonna have to move back home. I mean I'm already burning through my savings, I don't want to end up broke and I just can't work again until this is all over." Andrea said growing closer to tears,

"I understand Andrea, do you need help?" You asked walking over to her,

"John-I don't want to go." Andrea said looking up at you, "What's going to happen when I move back home? I won't have you there anymore, who knows what type of person will show up to 'help' me." She added wiping away a tear,

"It's alright Andrea, it's going to be alright." You said giving her a tight hug. Suddenly it hit you, "Andrea you could come live with me if you'd like." Andrea looked at you a bit surprised.
