Eventually your friend April goes home

"Good bye sweetie, I know you two were made for each other." you say wiping the tears from under your eyes in the hotel lobby.

"Ohh don't cry Carrie!" you friend April says while pulling you into a tight hug for one last time, "We'll make sure to keep in touch and one day you'll come visit us at our country home in Texas!" April says squeezing your hand. "I would really enjoy that." you say clearing up your tears before they mess up your mascara.

You then look over to her husband Tyler, and embrace him in a hug too. "You take care of her now too, don't you ever make this beautiful woman cry." you say with a smile. He smiles and tells you to take care. They then both leave the hotel lobby and walk toward the waiting limo arrived to take them to the airport, with a baggage boy with their luggage in tow.

Walking back over to your desk and console you reflect back on the past 8 days with your "sister". She truly had a fabulous honeymoon you know that's for sure, her husband did too, even with you third wheeling on most of those days...

She had introduced you to her husband as an "old friend" that she had known way back in her days during college, whom she had randomly bumped into working at the hotel she was having her honeymoon at. So he had readily accepted you as his new wife's friend and hadn't questioned why on many of the days and nights of their honeymoon you and her and slipped off the hotel grounds to do your own things. Such as shopping at expensive designer stores together, getting: brunch, dinner and lunch together, and getting expensive massages, pedicures, and manicures, and all mostly on Tyler's money and credit cards too (which was nice).

You had taken some days off from work and your boyfriend Ryan was off on a work-trip so you has plenty of time to get together with April on her honeymoon, as many times as possible when she wasn't around her husband.

It was one evening near the end of her stay, when it was just you and April at a cocktail bar, when you already had a few too many glasses of wine, when you were staring into your friend's big blue eyes, that you had impulsively leaned in towards her and set your lips upon hers. You had immediately pulled back and apologized purposely to her. Though instead of being mad or surprised by your actions all she did was reassure you that it was okay.

"It not okay!" you had said looking ashamed at the ground when she caught you outside the bar that night, after you had stormed out as quick as possible in your new heels. "I have a boyfriend and you have Tyler. I didn't want to get in between you two like this!" you say with a tear running down your cheek.

"Carrie it's okay, it doesn't matter, this doesn't change anything between us really." she had said.

"It does matter! I didn't want to come between you and your husband and now I'll be driving a wedge in between me and my boyfriends relationship." you had said sniveling.

"Carrie, Its doesn't matter because I've realized since this past week that I'm no longer a merely straight woman, I realized that I am indeed now a bisexual woman, and I'm not going to hide that any longer." she had said reassuringly.

"But what about Tyler, your husband, the man you said you wanted a family with ?" you had asked her.

"I do love him with all my heart, and one day I will give birth to his children, but I need to be honest with myself now, that I am bisexual and one day I will tell him but right now..." she says slipping off her wedding ring..."Right now I want to be with you Carrie, and I want you to be with me."

It was when she had reached in and laid her delicate hand upon your checks and pulled you in towards her that you had shared your first french kiss with a woman.
