"What is it Fredrick?" Meddin asked sharply, looking intently at the young man, knowing that if he was interrupting them there was a good reason.

"The Dragonkin have sent a messenger. Their leader has challenged the King to a duel. If he does not fight, they say they will attack tomorrow."
