Even though she and her parents didn't make the flight, her clothes did

"Wait a minute," Naomi's mother started realizing, "we never left town to go to Rocky Mountain, the flight left without us..."

"Okay, and...?" Naomi had a pit in her stomach realizing what was likely happening.

"So your bag is probably at the other airport now, and not here."

"Oh god, please no!"

"Honey, calm down," her father insisted, "let's go to the airline desk and see what happens."

So, the family of three walked over to the agents and explained the situation.

"Okay, you said there should be a pink and purple suitcase checked in with Flight 3080 a couple of hours ago?" the lady asked them.

"Yes, ma'am," Naomi's mother explained, "we were wondering if it ended up getting packed into the flight."

"Well, in the system it looks like it did. So that bag is currently at the destination. If you want I can call them to put it on hold."

"That would be wonderful, thanks! And when does the next flight depart?"
