Eveline and Tia return

Eve and Tia had finally returned to the base, after all that. Guards on the perimeter had seen them and called for a jeep to pick them up.

When they arrived, the base personnel immediately started evaluating both of them and questioned what they saw. Eveline had to deal with worse tests as they probed inside her checking the slugs out.

Then they both told the commander what they had learned about the tower, and all the towerlings and their abilities that they had learned of. And of the fates of their fallen allies.

But with as many casualties as there were the recon mission was labelled as a failure. But the info they had was enough, just enough to plan a basic counterattack against the tower. Not with as much intelligence as they would have liked...but it would have to do.
