Euryanthe College - a women's college with a more experimental model

Founded as a counter-cultural experiment, Euryanthe College represents a departure from the societal norms that govern Discipline Society. While most other colleges and universities have systemic sexism and institutionalized corporal punishment of women, Euryanthe exists as an intellectual fortress. Its mission statement is "To cultivate unassailable intellect and autonomy in women".

Every executive, VP, and board member is a woman. For teaching, the professorship is open to men, many of whom are leading experts in their fields. However, they teach under the strict oversight and parameters established by the female administration. Maintenance, professional support services, and other vital campus operations are staffed by both men and women, all of whom are thoroughly vetted to ensure total compliance with the Institute's ethos.

The Euryanthe campus has a ban on corporal punishment. Any attempt to strike, physically discipline, or physically intimidate a student is met with immediate, permanent expulsion for students, and termination and legal action for staff.

In spite of this, there is one unusual aspect that some students have criticized as paternal - the mandated use of adult diapers in many circumstances. All first-year students are required to live in the central campus dormitories and participate in the physical regression mandate, which requires them to wear adult diapers at nearly all times outside of dorm rooms. While baffling to outsiders, this mandate serves a purpose: it enforces equalization among the cohort. By returning students to a state of physical vulnerability and removing the rigid, hyper-policed standards of adult female presentation demanded by society, students unlearn their defensive posturing. This custom fosters intense communal bonding, strips away vanity, and allows the first-year mind to focus on academic matters.

For second-year students and beyond, behavioral infractions—such as violating campus security protocols, academic infractions, or bullying—result in a "Status Regression." The offending student is stripped of her upper-level clothing privileges and mandated to return to the institutional diaper requirement for a prescribed period, ranging from a single weekend to an entire semester. This non-violent measure serves as a reset, forcing the student to publicly revisit the vulnerability and ego-stripping lessons from the first year. Additionally, instructions may mandate the use of diapers for shorter terms. For instance, if a student exhibits chronic tardiness, fails a vital exam, is unprepared, or misses research deadlines—a professor may require her to wear diapers during lectures, seminars, or laboratory sessions until her academic standing is successfully remediated. This practice is heavily utilized in both the STEM labs and the intensive humanities seminars. It provides faculty with a profound, non-physical mechanism to humble intellectual arrogance and enforce focus, ensuring that a student's academic output remains her absolute priority.
