Will Ethan 'adjust' more women?
Ethan sprays Jenny and Willow.
The Mibs on the walkway recover quickly from the small shower of debris Willow had turned back at them. Shrugging off sevearal hits from the building debris and other trash they straighten up and change tactics. Reaching inside their black jackets, each pull out an outlandishly large automatic handgun and take aim at Willow. Each squeezes off a single round and light flares at two points on Willow's sphere of protection. Neither man looks dismayed or surprised that their bullets have failed to penetrate. With calm persistance the men take aim again and begin steadily firing round after round.
Giles throws a cinder block at the MiB closing on him. Though it struck hard on his shoulder the man merely staggers slightly before resuming his advance. Giles looked around desperately for a more effective weapon and spotted a rusty steel pole. With a little effort the watcher wrenches the pole free from a pile of bricks and turns to face his silent adversary.
Willow's sphere was visibly weakening, with each successive shot the sphere crackled and shrank as it's energy was expended deflecting the bullets. Knowing that it would soon fail, Willow went to the offensive. The witch raises both hands and grips her fists, then she motions as though pulling. The walkways holding the MiBs creaked ominously and swayed, the two men are **** to hold on to keep their footing. The sound of tortured metal screeches as Willow continues her pulling motion and bolts securing the walkway to the wall began to strip and shear. Despite the imminent collapse of the walkway, both men steadied themselves and blazed away at Willow.
"I...have had enough...of you." Willow said vehemently.
The witch pulls her hands sharply and the walkways break free from the walls. For a moment or two they teetered and swayed, with the men flailing around for something to grip. Then with a cacophony of rending and falling metal they collapse into twisted heaps of bent metal beams. Willow turned and strode towards the far exit to the room.
Jenny Calender seeing the MiBs fall into the scrapheap of the walkways runs to the exit Willow was heading for. As she turned into the corridor Ethan Rayne was waiting. He grabs the Romany by her throat before she can react to his ambush and sprays her straight in the face with one of his magical aerosols. Jenny kicks his knee and breaks free as he stumbles back. Ethan laughs as he backs off with a limp.
"Willow, Ethan's here." Miss Calender calls out, to warn the witch before she comes around the corner. "He's got a spraycan. He...he sprayed me."
Ethan continued to retreat down the corridor, hobbling from his injured knee. Willow turned the corner ten yards behind him. Jenny slumped against the wall, holding her head in her hands, knowing that soon she would be altered.
"You can't outrun me Ethan." Willow says, sounding grim and scary. "Give up and reverse what you've done or face my wrath."
"Oh please spare me Willow." Ethan replies, falling to one knee on the rubble strewn floor. "Spare me your idle melodramatic threats."
Ethan lurches to his feet, a small block of masonary in his fist. He hurls it at Willow, but she simply gestures and the brick is reduced to dust inches from her head. Ethan scrambles backwards, throwing another brick as he retreats and again Willow disintegrates it before it hits her. Ethan ducks through a doorway and slips on a puddle of oil and slips, he looks at his oil covered hands a moment and then searches his pockets for another spray.
"Give up Ethan." Willow demands again as she enters the room.
Ethan turns and flings another piece of debris at the witch. As before Willow holds up her hand, but this time Ethan's missile explodes in a shower of gas a foot or two from Willow's head. The witch shouts out in dismay as droplets of something damp spatter her face.
"Hah." Ethan cries jubilently. "I might not be able to outfight you with magic Miss Rosenberg, but I can always outwit a mere girl."
Willow turns on Ethan, her face shocked and furious. The sorceror realises that in the ten minutes it will take for Willow to adjust, the witch is capable of skinning him alive. Looking around for an avenue of escape he covers his head with his arms and rushes at a boarded up window. Glass shatters and planks splinter as Ethan crashes headfirst through the window.
Giles jabs at the Mib, but no matter how hard he hits the man keeps coming. Roaring defiantly Giles swiches to an overhead stance and attempts to batter the seemingly unstoppable heavy. The man throws up an arm to ward off the blows and after fending off three strikes there is an audible snap as his arm breaks. His other hand whips around and catches Giles weapon before he can recover and he tears it from the watcher's grasp. He stares at his broken arm briefly before relentlessly reaching for Giles with his good arm.
Willow stumbles into the room where Giles is fighting the Mib. She can already feel herself starting to change. Her magic can't hold Ethan's spell back.
"Willow, whatever this is it isn't human." Giles calls out as the man reaches for his throat.
Willow nods, if it isn't human then she doesn't need to hold back. She holds out her hand and the discarded pole floats into the air, turns, and then impales the MiB through the chest. Giles backs away as the skewered man takes another couple of steps before toppling forward. Even though he's down the man keeps moving, attempting to drag himself forward on his one good arm. Giles lifts a huge block of cement above his head with difficulty and stands over the man before hurling it down and crushing the MiB's head.
"At bloody last." Giles sighs gratefully.
"Giles." Willow gasps. "Jenny...I...we've both been sprayed."
