Esta has doubts.

Esta stopped pulling out the beads and made a very obvious "hmm" noise. That was not good for Harriette.

"Wh-whuh?"

"I realize, if I pull these out fully, they might just crawl inside someone else," Esta said. What Harriette, who was shivering on the floor didn't see, was the massive smirk Esta had while saying it, and the fact she was talking more to Aelia and Gondi than her hapless victim.

"New Esta is scary," Gondi muttered, quietly enough that Harriette didn't hear.

"You gotta remove-"

"It's animated. If I pull it out, it'll just start up again. I mean, it's only an issue pulling it out, right?"

"Yes, but-"

"Then we have no issues! Besides, we have nothing to fight it off with!"

Harriette looked for something to convince her, and saw the weapons on the racks and tables.

"W-what about those? Maybe if we c-can destroy it?"
