Escape

The soldiers guarding Sadarth had fled when the army they were attached to broke apart. Of course they did not free her. Things were surprisingly quiet on Sadarth's hill, and lonely. She could the victorious army- her army- on the field below. They would have a harder time seeing her, though they had to find her eventually. Sadarth thought about how sweet liberation would be. Some of her soldiers would come and break these chains.

No. That's not right at all. It was bad enough to be seen by enemies like this. They hated her anyway, and would not listen to her. But if her own soldiers saw? It was hard enough to keep their respect while she was nude, but nude and helpless? People only respected her because she was powerful. If they knew she had failed to protect herself, they would stop respecting her. If they stopped respecting her, they would not fight for her, and they would not destroy that army of paladins and clerics. That was this whole ordeal was about, after all.

Sadarth struggled. Something had to work to get her out. The thought of being seen in such a **** terrified her. All the more so because of the arousal she was feeling because of the notion.

Focus. How many more times would she have this argument with herself? There was never time for it, especially not now. She struggled and struggled, until finally something snapped. There was then a rolling and crash sound. Suddenly, all of the mana which should have been following gradually into Sadarth over the past half day came in one great jolt. Asidia must have bought a magic stone of some sort to drain away Sadarth's magic. Now that it was broken, everything came flowing back to Sadarth. It was disorienting, at first, but glorious. Sadarth felt alive again. She teleported out of the chains into a nearby stream, where she gave herself a good washing.

This was how she was found.
