Erwin wants to come too

"We'll have so much fun," Charlotte says, putting her arms around the new girl. "These other girls are so smart, working on their Ph.D.s and everything. It'll be great to have a normal girl around. Can we keep her, Mike?

"She's not a pet," you remind Charlotte. "It's not one of those 'she followed me home,' moments."

"I know that. But still."

You take a closer look at Sara.

Your initial reaction was dead-on. She's definitely got a figure underneath that baggy dress. You wonder that none of the senior cult leaders bothered to pick her out and turn her into some sort of personal slut. Then again, maybe if she always stayed at the back, near Edwin, she didn't bring herself to their attention. You can't help wondering whether the sim would respond to her better than it did to Stacy. Does she even get what coming with you entails? Is she ready to be part of your harem just because she feels like she's been led on by Erwin?

Of course, even if she isn't ready to fall into your bed, you're not going to abandon Sara. You're a sucker for cute girls for one thing. For another, if you dump her, there's nothing that says she won't go to the cult and turn you in.

When you explain that, though, Erwin gets a thoughtful look.

"Uh, I don't want them praying over me."

You shrug. "You can go where you want, Erwin. You don't have to stay with them."

"But... where would I go?"

"Don't you have a family? Families are good at taking back their lost sheep."

"I... last time I saw them I was pretty condemning. I told them I didn't want anything to do with sinners."

You suspect that hypocrisy is just part of being human... along with projection. "Ask their forgiveness."

"I... can't. I mean, I'd have to tell them why I left my church and if they knew I had forbidden attractions, they'd throw me out... and laugh at me for all the lecturing them I've done."

"There are organizations set up to help gay people who've been thrown out by their families and social groups," you say.

"Can't I just come with you?"

Accepting another girl is one thing. Accepting a guy is another. Not that Erwin is any kind of threat to you. For one thing, he doesn't like girls. For another, he's Erwin. Still, you sort of like hanging with the girls and you're pretty sure Erwin will get judgmental when he sees that you're banging all of them... perhaps to the point where he'll run back the cult.

On the other hand, if you reject him, he may feel he has no other choice but to run back to the cult anyway.
