After careful consideration, Josh settled on Erin as his first target. He remembered hearing that she enjoyed thrifting and had recently moved to an apartment near the only thrift store in town. Josh threw on some clothes and grabbed his keys, heading out to scope out the location. He arrived at the thrift shop just as it opened, pretending to browse the men's section while keeping an eye out for Erin. He finally spotted her walking in with two friends. They split up to search different aisles, giving Josh the opening he needed. He quickly put a vintage locket on a nearby display, one that he had laced with calming and submissive pheromones. Josh watched from a distance as Erin wandered over to the jewelry section, her eyes drawn to the glittering locket. He held his breath, hoping the subtle influence would take hold. After a moment of hesitation, Erin reached out to pick up the locket, slipping it over her head to try it on. The pheromone-laced metal made contact with her skin, beginning to work its subtle magic.

Josh approached casually, flashing Erin a charming smile. "That's a lovely piece," he commented, gesturing to the locket. "It suits you perfectly." Flustered by the compliment, Erin blushed slightly, fingering the locket. "Thank you. I think I'm going to get it." Her friends were engrossed in a rack of dresses at the other end of the aisle, oblivious to the scene unfolding. Josh seized the opportunity, leaning in conspiratorially. "I couldn't help but notice you earlier. There's something special about you, Erin. Would you like to grab a coffee sometime and chat? I'd love to get to know you better." Erin hesitated, glancing back at her friends uncertainly. The locket seemed to pulse gently against her skin, whispering seductive thoughts into her subconscious. "I... I suppose that would be nice," she found herself saying, even as a small part of her wondered at her own boldness.
