Erica tries to hide behind the seats.

"Come over here, Erica!" Carrie called out to her. "If you cooperate, we'll give you your clothes back."

Erica wasn't so sure about that. Alicia had been given her shirt (and the rest of her clothes) and had surreptitiously moved back to where the two of them had been originally sitting, towards the middle of the bus. She was packing everything into her backpack, trying not to attract the attention of the two boys and the girl that were sitting near her.

Since her clothes were out of her reach and moving out from the cover of the next row of seats would expose her, Erica did the most logical thing that her scared body could think of. She moved from the seat to the floor and curled up into a ball.

"Come on, Erica," she heard Lisa say as the sound of footsteps came closer to her body. "Things will be a lot easier for you if you just cooperate."

All she could do was whimper from her position on the floor.

Lisa sighed. "All right. Have it your way." Her footsteps retreated away and Erica relaxed just a little bit. Then she heard Lisa say something that worried her more than anything else that had happened on the bus to that point.

"Mrs. Wellington! Erica is having some sort of fit and we're worried about her!"
