Erica slows down, but keeps going.

Assessing the situation, Erica came to a difficult decision. She had a small head start, but Lisa and Carrie were both swimmers so she had to keep ahead of them. The problem was, if she ran all out all the way to the cabin, there was no guarantee she'd be able to make it all the way there before she collapsed. So she decided to maintain a jog and try to control her breathing.

She continued down the path, but when she got a little bit past the halfway point, she thought she heard voices.
