Erica clutched the stitch in her side but knew she couldn't afford to stop. Lisa and Carrie were both on the swim team, so their endurance gave them an advantage getting back to the cabin. She didn't know enough about Tammy and Sara to determine what risk, if any, they posed to her. If any of them made it to the cabin before she did, she would be tagged before she made it inside, so she could not stop!

Her feet pounded on the path and she tried her best to control her breathing. Ragged breaths escaped from her mouth and the stitch in her side was getting worse. She estimated that she was more than half way to the cabin.
