What's next?
Erica Calls Jason Crying
Erica: THE FUCKING ASSHOLE.
Jason: What's wrong babe?
Erica: Austin is leaving. He told me if he wants my accounts I have to date him. Am I fucking stupid? I know what date means.
Jason did his best to play dumb
Jason: Huh? He knows your engaged.
Erica: Yeah, he knows. The piece of shit doesn't care.
Jason: So what exactly did he say?
Erica: He said that he's leaving in 12 months. His accounts are mind if I "date" him. He knows these are what I need for a promotion. He's such a piece of shit.
Jason: Wow, I expected more out of that guy. So do I need to ask what you're going to say?
Erica: No! FUCK NO! You don't have to ask because that's my answer. What would you say?
Jason: Well, you know I like to think through things. I'll give you two answers. Answer number 1. Abso-fuckinglutley-not. You're engaged to be MY wife. There's no world where this is happening.
Silence
Erica: Okay, so we agree there. What's the second answer?
Jason: Well, I know the world is changing but this is still a man's world to a degree. This shit happens. I don't like it but it happens in business. Women get fucked over all the time for promotions, and fucked over even harder behind the scenes. I don't think you need to do this but you have to come to the conclusion that this may happen again. What if it's for something smaller than a promotion? What if someone in the business wants to fire you unless you fuck them? Now you're fucking just to keep your job. The only way you stop this is to rise up and change the game. You can go somewhere else but then you're starting over and still potentially hit with this.
Erica: YOU'RE TELLING ME TO FUCK HIM?!?!?!
Jason: No! I'm thinking logically. I know how career driven you are. If you worked at Burger King there would be no option 2. I know that your career comes second to me. I'm just giving you a different point of view.
Erica: Whatever. I have to go. I'll talk to you later.
Jason: That's fine. Just please call me before you talk to Austin again.
Erica: Fine.
With that, Jason heard a click.
