Eric Kripke

Upon learning of the ending of Supernatural, Eric Kripke contacted the CRB about buying Jensen Ackles. Eric had always considered Sam and Dean to be his children in a way and he couldn't give them up now that they were giving up on the show. They may have thought he moved on, but he never really did.

So, once Jensen was finished filming the final season of Supernatural, Eric had him kidnapped and reprogrammed in the CRB labs. In Jensen's mind he now is Dean Winchester, Eric is God, and he is incapable of disobeying his master, his God, no matter how much he may want to.
