Episode 3

Your favorite part of the morning is waking up a few minutes before the alarm and snuggling with Rita before it goes off. Last night you had sex, so you’re both naked except for her bra for some reason. Your favorite part of this pre-dawn thing that you get to do is being the little spoon and feeling her morning wood up against your booty.

Some morning you feel like you have a little time, and you get to fool around. Sometimes you have to let her take care of herself because she’s a lot faster than you are.

And this morning? Nothing. Because she’s gone before you even wake up.

It’s because she’s having to cover all these other shifts.

This sucks so much.

But this is your life, so you get dressed and head to work. Looks like a normal day, except your office hasn’t been cleaned. Probably because FUTA can’t seem to keep its cleaning staff. You hope to god that Rita doesn’t end up in here, vacuuming your floor. Your job sucks, but hers is actually way harder. She gets paid a little bit more than you, but she deserves way, way more. That’s just one of the ways that FUTA is unfair.

She texts you around 9 with a heart emoji.

You send one back.

Yeah. Same as every other day.

A girl you don’t know very well comes in, but you hate her. Her name is Jade, she has beautiful, caramel-colored skin, a pretty face, and dresses like somebody’s lesbian cousin. You hate her because she has a camera.

Cameras are your thing, goddamn it.

“Morning,” she says brightly. No matter how much you hate her, she’s still always very sweet when she comes around. She’s probably a good person. She just pisses you off. She holds out a thick, sealed folder. “For Annette,” she says.
