Epilogue

"Hey, Valerie.", she heard Hawk say her name. "Valerie! Wake up!"

She groggily opened her eyes, sitting awake. She was next to the driver's seat of a truck, currently driving through the empty countryside. She realized her head had been resting on his lap the entire time. The cold wind blowing through the window made her shiver. She looked down, noticing her erect nipples and bare body. Maybe leaving her coat behind - the only item of clothing keeping her from nudity - had not been such a great idea after all.

"Sorry for waking you up.", he continued. "But you had been asleep for a few hours, and my lap was starting to ache."

"It's okay.", she blushed. "Thanks for saving me, Hawk."

"No need to thank me. It was thanks to you that I saved Iris. It was only fair."

Hearing that name bought back a rush of memories. She remembered how they had found her, and her face twisted into one of concern and worry. "Is she okay?", she asked.

"Mostly. It's a little complicated. But she is safe, and back at HQ. You'll see."

Valerie slipped back into thought. What effect could that place have had on Iris? She didn't even fully understand how her mind had been affected by that place. Even now, her memory was disorganized, and she was feeling urges that she couldn't explain. She shivered, in part due to the cold and in part due to the fear.

"If you don't mind, is it okay if you drive for a while? There's a long way to go, and I'm getting a little sleepy."

A devious smile appeared on her face. "Sleeping on the wheel?", she said playfully. "We can't have that."

She opened the fly of his pants and lowered her head on to his lap. Before too long, Hawk had stopped his complaining as other noises started coming out from his mouth.
